GC and me (a new generation)

In this piece titled GC and me (a new generation,) I used oil paint on wood to create a painting about my relationship with my grandfather and how I have been accepted and supported as the new generation of the family, even though I am not blood related. The painting depicts me as a child standing on a dock with my grandpa, as he points out something to me, teaching me about it and instilling his knowledge into me.
